I believe my in person reviews are more representative of my teaching. That being said, I prefer morning classes, i.e. 7:30 am and 8:00 am. There are three types of students who take my morning classes.
- Morning people. This includes Freshmen who haven’t adjusted away from being in the habit of getting up at 6am for school every day. Predominantly this occurs in the Fall.
- Military / professionals. They have developed a regiment and they prefer, like myself, to start the day early and then coast.
- Students who hop into my class last minute as it’s the only one available. The unfortunately aspect of this is that if one is already predisposed to not want to be there, it’s MUCH more difficult to “win them over” and they will seek out reasons to be angry with the course which is causing them to be forced to get up early. Wherein the reality is they put themselves in that situation.
