One of the more conflicting emotions that I encounter as an instructor occurs when grading students exams and seeing artwork. Part of me is frustrated that they spent so much time on their art and not on the mathematics, physics, or engineering, because as is always the case, I want you all to do your best. However, mixed with the frustration is always some level of levity as most of the put a smile on my face.
This gallery exists because I thought it would be fun to share the smiles! Although I must put out a caveat, please for the love of all things holy, don’t let this be an excuse for you to do this on your exam. View these as what NOT to do, not what TO do.

The fatal flaw in this logic is that if you are a true pastafarian, you worship the gigantic floating spaghetti monster in the PROPER pirate regalia. Where’s the pirate hat, peg leg, and eye patch? Arrghhh matey?
