SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!
…. usually…
Many of my colleagues have dates mid week, etc… and technically there is nothing wrong with that at all. However, I am aware that we have students who are working and there is a large variety of the jobs you young whippersnappers find yourselves in. Myself I was a server for Dennys who worked Swings and graveyard shifts at Exxon over the weekend. Other people may have standard 9 to 5.
Thus it seemed the most reasonable to me to just have due dates at Sunday night at midnight. Therefore, anyone who works the weekend can always get it done earlier. Anyone who works all week, can dedicate their weekends powering through.
However, bare in mind that the longer you wait to do it, the more of a time crunch you are under. Additionally, when asking for help in our discussion forums, the probability of getting an answer back in a reasonable time diminishes greatly.
Exceptions to this rule will only happen when an upcoming exam gets in the way. For example, we may have an exam on a Wednesday / Thursday and I want to provide more time to ask questions before or after class. I then will make the homework due the night before the exam.
