Before he was Severus, Alan Rickman was Metatron, the Voice of God, or in the case of the movie Dogma, the voice of Alanis Morissette. Which if you haven’t seen it, you most definitely should. While your at it, watch the entire Kevin Smith line up.

Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Clerks II, and apparently there’s a new movie coming out. Now the big question is, what the hell does all this have to do with Religion? Nothing really, outside of I appreciate different takes on religion and the movie Dogma is no exception. Sometimes us mere humans in the name of our God(s) take our faith so blindly that we refuse to laugh at the silliness of the religions of the world. Which I would argue that if a God exists, .. he must have a sense of humor.
